WHAT WE DO
CLASSES FOR ADULTS

Each year, one out of five employees faces a significant problem that disrupts life at home and at work. These personal issues fall into four categories and result in an average of over three weeks of lost productivity per employee.

We offer a flexible and affordable Employee Assistance Program to corporations in the Elkhart area.

Corporations that  retain skilled employees through an Employee Assistance Program are contributing to their community and are demonstrating their commitment to their workforce.  Statistics show that EAP programs offer corporations a strong ROI.

DRP Health Systems is dedicated to the betterment of our local community. We strive to help the community rebuild their relationships and preserve their families.  The professionals at DRP Health Systems have been in the business of helping people rebuild their lives for more than two decades.  Anger Management Services at DRP Health Systems are a result of the need to battle the growing influence of violence impacting the families living within our communities.

We are Certified Anger Management Facilitators.  We use the highly-acclaimed Anderson & Anderson anger management curriculum.  Anderson & Anderson is the most widely recognized curriculum in the world.

We use a structured, skill-building curriculum based on the acclaimed Anderson & Anderson workbook. This includes the Contrasting Wheel of Interactions which demonstrates in simple, easy to understand terms what to avoid in relating to others and which skills are important to practice for improving relationships with others.

Common problems addressed in our adult classes include destructive anger in relationships, inability to cope with partner's anger, road rage, substance abuse education, battery, violence toward family members, work-related anger, and parent-child conflict. At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize the role of individual responsibility in changing behavior.
2. Develop a working understanding of one's own anger/stress patterns.
3. Identify situational anger that is a precursor to violent behavior.
4. Eliminate or minimize violent confrontations.
5. Use communication skills and listening techniques effectively.
6. Be aware of one's own stress and anger signals.
7. Develop the capacity to have positive exchanges with others.
